How to install IPTV on LG Smart TV
LG Smart TVs use webOS and have the same IPTV apps as Samsung in the LG Content Store. Setup is a few clicks with the Magic Remote and there is no extra hardware to buy.

Before you start
- An LG Smart TV from 2016 or newer (webOS 3.0+)
- Your Best IPTV Canadian login
- The TV connected to the internet
Your login email contains a server URL, a username and a password (Xtream Codes format) and an M3U link. Keep it handy. Do not have one yet? Request a free trial login.
Step-by-step: LG Smart TV
Open the LG Content Store
Press the Home button, scroll to the LG Content Store, and open Apps. Use the search icon.
Install an IPTV app
Search for "IPTV Smarters" or "IBO Player" and press Install. Smart IPTV (SIPTV) is also available.
Sign in
Open the app and select Xtream Codes login. Enter the server URL, username and password from your email exactly as written.
Choose your categories
Pick Canada, Sports, French, Kids or any other groups you want in the guide, then press Done.
Watch
Point the Magic Remote at a channel and click. Use the long-press menu to add favourites.
Tips and quick fixes
- If the Content Store hides the app in Canada, set the TV country to United States in Settings, General, Location, then search again.
- Turn off TruMotion for hockey and football if you prefer a natural picture.
- Connect the TV by Ethernet if it sits far from the router.

Does IPTV work on LG webOS TVs sold in Canada?
Yes. Any LG TV with webOS 3.0 or newer (2016 onward) installs IPTV Smarters Pro, IBO Player or Smart IPTV from the LG Content Store.
Can I use the same login on my LG TV and my phone?
Yes. Your plan covers 1 to 5 devices playing at the same time. Install the app on as many devices as you like; only simultaneous streams count.
What if my LG TV is older than 2016?
Older NetCast models cannot install new apps. A Fire TV Stick plugged into the HDMI port is the cheapest fix.
