How to install IPTV on Formuler, BuzzTV and MAG boxes

Formuler Z-series and BuzzTV boxes are built for IPTV: a real remote with number keys, a fast guide and recording. MAG boxes work through a portal link. Setup is a login screen and one restart.

Before you start

  • A Formuler Z8, Z10, Z11 or GTV; a BuzzTV X5, XRS or XR; or a MAG 5xx box
  • Your Best IPTV Canadian login (Xtream Codes) or portal link
  • Ethernet or Wi-Fi

Your login email contains a server URL, a username and a password (Xtream Codes format) and an M3U link. Keep it handy. Do not have one yet? Request a free trial login.

Step-by-step: Formuler, BuzzTV and MAG boxes

  1. Formuler: open MyTVOnline 3

    On first boot, MyTVOnline opens. Choose Add portal or Xtream login, enter the server URL, username and password, and press Connect.

  2. BuzzTV: open the BuzzTV app

    Choose Xtream Codes, enter the server URL, username and password, and save. The guide loads in about a minute.

  3. MAG: set the portal

    Go to Settings, System settings, Servers, Portals. Enter the portal URL we send you as Portal 1 and restart the box. Send us the MAC address on the back of the box so we can register it.

  4. Choose categories and watch

    Select the groups you want in the guide. Use the number keys on the remote to jump to a channel, and the EPG button for the guide.

Tips and quick fixes

  • Formuler boxes support recording to a USB drive through MyTVOnline 3.
  • MAG boxes need the MAC address registered on our side; send it with your order or trial request.
  • Use Ethernet on set-top boxes whenever possible; they do not always have the strongest Wi-Fi.

Do you support MAG boxes?

Yes. Send us the MAC address printed on the underside of the box and we register it. You then add our portal URL and restart the box.

Which dedicated box do you recommend for Canada?

Can I use a Formuler box with the same login as my Fire TV Stick?
